Independent Living Skills (ILS) Coach

Location: Oakland, CA

Description: The ILS coach works to help increase client independence by working towards goals as detailed in the client Independent Living Skills plan. Typical goals include banking, household chores, recreational access and self-help skills. Services take place in both home and community settings.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience with coaching, caretaking, and data tracking preferred. Higher compensation may be provided for AA/AS or BA/BS degree or other relevent credentials. Must pass background check and have clean driving record, reliable transportation and insurance. 

Benefits: Free Registered Behavior Technician training and supervision may be provided upon request. Sick time may be accrued after 90 consecutive days of employment. 

Schedule: 6-20 hours per week depending on client needs and applicant availability

Compensation: $20-28/hr (Plus Mileage) depending on experience/credentials. Applicable mileage reimbursed at the federal rate.

Inclusive Yoga Volunteer

Deadline: Until Filled

Location: Oakland, CA

Description: The Inclusive yoga volunteer assists students with physical and/or developmental disabilities to access yoga and mindfulness during structured yoga classes.

Qualifications: Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) preferred, familiarity with yoga and/or physical fitness required. Must be able to move quickly and lift up to 30lbs. No other experience necessary. Must pass background check.

Benefits: Volunteer work counts towards Yoga Alliance instruction time requirements. Receive free experiece and training on yoga adaptations to meet the needs of special populations.

Schedule: Currently 2nd Sundays from 2-3p

Compensation: This is a volunteer opportunity

BA Level Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Location: East Bay, CA

Description: The BA level Registered Behavior Technician works to help increase client independence by working towards goals as detailed in the client behavior and treatment plan. Typical goals include communication, household chores, recreational access and self-help skills.  Services take place in both home and community settings.

Qualifications: BA/BS and RBT credential required. 1+ years of experience in an academic or ABA setting preferred. Must pass background check. 

Benefits: Free supervision provided for those on the BCaBA or BCBA educational track. Sick time may be accrued after 90 consecutive days of employment. 

Schedule: 5-24 hours per week depending on client needs and applicant availability

Compensation: $30-37/hr depending on experience/credentials.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Typical goals include communication, household chores, recreational access and self-help skills.  Services take place in both home and community settings.

Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent and RBT credential required. 1+ years of experience in an academic or ABA setting preferred. Must pass background check

Benefits: Free supervision provided for those on the BCaBA or BCBA educational track. Sick time may be accrued after 90 consecutive days of employment. 

Schedule: 5-24 hours per week depending on client needs and applicant availability

Compensation: $24-29/hr depending on experience/credentials.
