In need of an Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) for student behavior?
An independent educational evaluation (“IEE”) means that the evaluation is conducted by a qualified person who is not employed by the school district that serves the student. A parent/guardian can request an IEE at public expense from a school district.
"At public Expense" means that the school district will pay for the evaluation.
If your child has received assessments as provided by school personnel, and you are not in agreement with the findings, placement or service recommendations associated with these assessments.
